Mini Expedition 2025
This past weekend, members of the Coal Country Amateur Radio Club ventured to Summers County WV along the Greenbrier River to have an outing, raise some antennas and play radio. This low key event allowed members the opportunity to hash out plans for the future and engage in a little radio work.
As you can see from the pics, the weekend was a success. Food was eaten, antennas were tuned and we even had a chance to cut down a tree or two.
Our mascot for the weekend, “Sophie” aka “N8GB/K9” encountered an injury and sustained a small cut to her snout. She didn’t make a sound and we had no idea how she did it. Lots of love and noms were applied. She’s recovering peacefully back in Madison.
