Welcome!

Greetings from West Virginia’s Coal Country and the Coal Country Amateur Radio Club. Comprised of some old-hands in the southern West Virginia ham radio community and a few new ticket holders, the Coal Country Amateur Radio Club (CCARC) welcomes our website visitors.

The Coal Country Amateur Radio Club, established in 2013 in Madison, WV, serves the ham radio community, the emergency services community and the general public by providing radio communications and technical assistance whenever needed. With the establishment of the “Club Shack” in the Madison Civic Center and through a partnership with the City of Madison WV, CCARC will aid in emergency communication for the area, should the need arise.

CCARC Mission

Support area amateur radio; provide information to the public and assist in educating others to enhance the awareness and growth of amateur radio.
